Sugar City Council is revising the comprehensive plan which includes issues like transportation. property rights, and General goals for the city. In order to adhere to Idaho State code the new comprehensive plan will contain attachments. “The method complies with city requirement…motions can be used to accept attachments rather than time consuming procedures,” says Councilman Vaun L. Waddell.
The current comprehensive plan was issued in 2008. “It’s out-of-date and in our town history things tend to change drastically,” said Waddell. He sent copies home for city councilmen to look over.
Minor changes to spelling and grammar as well as additions to the city will be looked at before the next meeting on July 23.
